1952 – 2003
LEWISTON – Donna Bell Ellis, 51, of Rangeley, died Sunday, June 8, at Central Maine Medical Center, as a result of complications from a recent heart attack.
Born in Farmington, April 18, 1952, a daughter of Jack and Marcelle (Tardy) Bell, she attended Farmington schools and graduated from Mt. Blue High School in 1970.
On Sept. 25, 1971, she married Timothy Ellis in Farmington. Ms. Ellis lived mostly in the Farmington and Strong areas and for the last year in Rangeley. She was employed by AT&T in Farmington and Sugarloaf Mountain Corp. in Carrabassett Valley. For many years, she was the office manager at Farmington Shoe and was employed by the Farmington Credit Union in its formative years.
She was a devoted mother and cared deeply for her family members. She enjoyed crossword puzzles and game shows.
Survivors include her husband; her son, Jamie Ellis and his companion, Patricia Kolva, her daughter, Wendy Ellis, all of Rangeley; her father, Jack Bell of Farmington; sister, Bonnie Lander and her husband, Wintworth of Cape Coral, Fla.; her four brothers, John and his wife, Jan (Bailey) Bell, Michael and his wife, Diana (Tracy) Bell, Terry and his wife, Denise (Adams) Bell and Ronald Bell, all of Farmington; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.
She was predeceased by her mother in 1986; and an infant brother in 1953.
