1931 – 2003
AUBURN – Mary L. Theriault, 71, a resident of 28 Madison Ave., died Saturday, June 7, at her residence.
Born in Auburn, Sept. 21, 1931, the daughter of Leon N., and Donalda (Turgeon) Gagne, she attended the former St. Louis Grammar School in Auburn.
She had been employed with New England Telephone as an operator in Lewiston, as well as the telephone companies of Miami and Los Angeles, retiring in 1976.
She moved back to Maine in 1992 and was a member of Sacred Heart Church. She enjoyed gardening, art and travel.
Survivors include three brothers, Richard Gagne of Walnut, Calif., Michael Gagne of Mesa, Ariz., and Albert Gagne of Portsmouth, N.H.; and three sisters, Murielle G. Blackburn of Hollywood, Fla., Madelyn Bailey of Minot and Susan Woolley of Auburn.
