The Maine Council of Senior Citizens-Alliance for Retired Americans will hold its annual meeting Tuesday, June 17, at the American Legion on Capital Street Extension in Augusta.

Registration will be from 9 to 9:30 a.m. with the meeting starting at 9:30 a.m.

The registration fee of $10 includes lunch and a morning snack.

A full schedule is planned, with guest speakers including Gov. John Baldacci.

After a lunch break, the council will honor Vi Quirion for outstanding work as a lifelong advocate for Maine seniors and workers.
