Major division: Evan Kordalski pitched four strong innings and smacked two hits as Roux Insurance edged out Rainbow Bicycle 9-7 in the Major Division.

Nick Blais and Alex Lafreniere each chipped in with two hits apiece. Blais recorded three runs scored and the win on the mound. Ethan Gagnon had two hits and four RBIs, while Matt Kournoyer hit two for Rainbow.

Nathan Thistlewaite and Jordan Berube both went 4-for-4 for Falcon as it defeated Hannaford 15-9. Robbie Leeman had the win for Falcon. Matt Lamere played outstanding defense.

Minor division: Wendy’s and Roux Insurance battled to a 1-1 tie. Pitching and defense were outstanding for both teams, who combined for only five walks. Wendy’s pitchers threw 10 strikeouts, while Roux fanned 11. Each team had four hits.

Jacob Lajoie and Shawn Handler combined for a two hitter to lead Wendy’s to a 4-0 win over Wal-Mart.

The Wal-Mart pitchers combined to throw a three-hitter. Matt Poto and Shawn Handler each delivered key hits.

Leo Kates struck out eight batters and recorded the win as Wal-Mart beat Caron Construction 7-5.

Mike Bouchard and Shaun Ricker each had two hits. Jacob Bergeron tripled and David Cusson doubled for Caron. Ivan Ramirez added two hits.

Auburn Suburban

Major division: Auburn Firefighters picked up three recent victories. Mark Anthoine ripped two triples and a single to stake the Firefighters to a 15-4 victory over East Auburn. Conner Anthoine and Ryan Timberlake were repeat hitters, while Leo Henry hurled four strong innings for the victory. Josh Mains homered and doubled for East Auburn.

Billy Brewster and Mark Anthoine each rapped three hits in a 12-4 triumph over Hudson Bus Lines. Shawn Hird, Eric Bonawitz and Danny Gleason each slapped a pair of safeties in the win.

C.J. Bergeron belted two doubles for Hudson. Bonawitz and Brewster also delivered three hits each in an 11-4 win over Dunlap Insurance.

A.J. Poulin’s two hits led Dunlap.
