1922 – 2003
LEBANON, NH – Mary Morton Whitney, 81, died Wednesday, June 11, at the Genesis Elder Care.
She was born Jan. 12, 1922, in Mechanic Falls, daughter of Charles H. Morton and Florence E. (Gatchell) Morton.
She is survived by four sons, James C. Whitney of Ventura, Calif., Thomas C. Whitney of Lacey Spring, Ala., Timothy C. Whitney of South Woodstock, Vt., David M. Whitney of Dover, N.H.; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a sister, Rachael Wright of Florida.
She was predeceased by her husband, Clifford L. Whitney who died on Dec. 20, 1979; and a sister, Ruth Williams.
