1973 – 2003

LEWISTON – Kelly Jane Boulay, 30, died Thursday afternoon, June 12, as a result of a car accident in Turner.

She was born in Lewiston April 7, 1973, the daughter of Lionel R. and Janice B. (Lyon) Boulay. She lived in Lewiston all her life and graduated from Lewiston High School and also attended the University of Maine at Farmington.

She worked at Verizon in Portland as a sales representative for the past 10 years. She loved music and travel, her computer, and her two dogs, “Bondo” and “Lacy.”

At age 12 she contracted diabetes. The disease tormented her so significantly that only those in the same situation can understand. The pain she carried with her guided her every moment which left her unable to love life to it’s fullest.

One of the bright moments in her short life was having her son, Ryan, now age 9. He cared for her so diligently and with such love that was difficult to imagine. He saved her life numerous times. Her heart was pure gold. This was evident by expressions and words on holiday cards and letters. Her memory will be cherished by all that knew and loved her.

She leaves behind her son, Ryan Theriault; her loving parents, Lionel R. and Janice B. Boulay of Lewiston; her brother, Brian P. Boulay and wife Kristin of Bridgton; her grandmother, Georgette Larochelle of St. Petersburg, Fla.; her maternal grandmother, Ida Lyon of Scarborough; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
