PARIS – The Chamber of Commerce has announced that Sea Dogs tickets are moving fast. The Oxford Hills Sea Dogs Night will be held for its eighth consecutive year on Friday, July 18.

Through the generosity of corporate sponsor Norway Savings Bank, the Chamber purchased 200 reserved seats for this Oxford Hills tradition. Every ticket comes with a Slugger bobble-head doll. Less than 50 reserved seats are still available. Seats are only $6 each.

Performing arts

PARIS – The Oxford Hills Music and Performing Arts Association will present “It’s a Grand Night for Singing,” featuring the music of Rodgers and Hammerstein.

The event will be held at 8 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday, June 19, 20 and 21, and Thursday, Friday and Saturday, June 26, 27 and 28, and again at 2 p.m. Sundays June 22 and 29, at the Paris Hill Community Club building, Paris Hill, across from the golf course. The production will be directed by Linda Sturdivant.

Tickets are available at Books ‘n Things in the Oxford Shopping Plaza, Route 26, or at the door.

Benefit supper

PARIS – The Trinity Lutheran Church will hold a benefit supper for Ray Hakala from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Saturday, June 21, at the church on Route 117. The menu will include casseroles, salads and desserts. Donations of food are appreciated. Ray is challenged with an illness and is out of work. For more information call 743-7482.

Spiritual healing

PARIS – Spiritual Healing and How to Do It will be offered in a workshop from 3 to 4:30 p.m. Saturday, June 21, at the Center for Hope and Healing at 52 High St., South Paris, behind Moore Park. Open garden

WATERFORD – David Neufeld of North Star Garden Design will hold an open garden from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, June 21 and 22, at the 2-acre garden on Blackguard Road just one mile from Route 35/37, off Sweden Road.
