YARMOUTH – Nick Lawler rocketed a three-run homer in the first inning as New Auburn beat Cole Farms 9-3 in Legion ball Tuesday.

Derek Miller smacked two doubles, while David Roberge went 2-for-4, including a double. Joey Dumont recorded two RBIs. Jay Verrill walked three times, scored twice and stole three bases for New Auburn.

Jordan Yanni and Lou Bernadini each doubled for Cole Farms. Steve Melville, Kyle Verrill, and Bernadini each went 2-for-3.

Locke Mills 5, Andy Valley 4

BETHEL – Jake Largess singled home Kyle Kipikas to record the winning run in the bottom of the sixth inning as Locke Mills slipped past Andy Valley 5-4 Tuesday night.

Karl Olsen smacked an RBI triple and doubled for the win. Kipikas added an RBI double, while Travis Brook also chipped in with a two-bagger.

Chad Schrepper doubled three times to lead the Andy Valley effort. Jamie Brewer ripped a triple, while Jason Moris and Ryan Ouellette each hit doubles.

Midcoast 11, Poland 5

POLAND – Alan Contrell rocketed a three-run homer in the seventh inning to lift Midcoast past Poland and claim the win 11-5 Tuesday evening.

Mark Rogers aided the Midcoast (2-2) victory with a two-run homer. Jeff Tefft and Jeff Clark each hit two doubles as well.

Alex Smith smacked a homer in the first inning as the lead-off hitter for Poland. Nate Olson added a two-run homer, a two-run triple, and a double in the losing cause.
