AUBURN – Frances O. Buhler, 95, died Sunday, June 29, at her home at the Clover Living Center where she had lived for the past nine years.

Born Frances O. Ganzke in Brooklyn, NY, she married the late Joseph E. Buhler in 1938 and lived in Cedar Grove, NJ for 53 years before moving to Auburn in 1994.

A former executive secretary with The Oiljak Manufacturing Co., Montclair, NJ, for 17 years, she was an office manager with the Montclair advertising agency Kennedy-Sinclair, Inc. before joining the Cedar Grove Board of Education as secretary to the principal of the Parks School. After her retirement in 1976, she served for many years on the Executive Board of the Woman’s Club of Cedar Grove.

Surviving is a daughter, Mrs. Joanne Buhler Dawson of Fryeburg.
