1954 – 2003
LEWISTON – Kenny Ralph Jones, 49, of Lewiston, our loving brother went to be with his Lord on June 29, surrounded by his loving family, following a long illness.
He will be sorely missed and loved by us all. He was born in Newport, R.I., May 14, 1954, the son of Ralph and Arlene (Warren) Jones.
He attended Gardiner High School, and earned his Associates Degree in Early Childhood Development from the University of Maine at Farmington. He had worked with handicapped children, and in construction as a carpenter prior to his illness.
During high school, he was the State of Maine Light Weight Wrestling Champion and was a member of the Civil Air Patrol.
Surviving are a daughter, Season Jones; two sons, James and Mark Jones; three brothers, Stephen and Jeffrey Jones and Richard Desrosier; six sisters, Sherry Roffi, Naomi Allen, Kelley Nielsen, Minda Jones, Jolene Turner, and Jody Newman; his stepmother, Fe Jones; two former wives, Robin and Sally; and his companion, Chris and daughter Penny; a grandson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
