AUBURN – Dr. Kellie Sweet of Maynard, Mass., formerly of Auburn, has completed a three-year fellowship in pediatric neurology with Partners Neurology at Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham and Women’s Hospital, in affiliation with Harvard Medical School in Boston.
She received her diploma at a graduation dinner held June 13 at the Royal Sonesta Hotel in Cambridge, Mass. During the evening, she presented the class of 2003’s Pediatric Teacher of the Year award.
Sweet is a graduate of the University of Connecticut’s School of Pharmacy in Storrs, and the University of New England’s College of Medicine, Biddeford. She completed her residency in pediatrics at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, Pa., in 2000. She has accepted a position at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo, Mich.
After spending the summer in Oxford, Sweet will begin her duties on Sept. 1. She will reside in Kalamazoo with her husband, Matt Ciesielski, who is a family practice physician, and their daughter, Alina Kathryn. She is the daughter of Gordon and Susan Sweet of Auburn.
