LIVERMORE FALLS – Juveniles have opted to clean paint off a church rather than go to court.

A side of Moose Hill Free Will Baptist Church on Record Road was hit by 16 paint balls, Livermore Falls police Chief Ernest Steward Jr. said.

Police officer Randy Parenteau was investigating vandalism to two cars that also were hit by paint balls in the area and came across juveniles who admitted to shooting the paint balls at the church, Steward said.

The kids decided to clean it up rather than enter the juvenile court system, he said.
