AUBURN – Classic cars from the ’50’s, ’60’s, and other decades will decorate Festival Plaza and Main Street on Saturday night, July 26, as a prelude to the movie “Grease,” which will play at dusk. The vehicles will be on display from 7 to 8:30 p.m.

“What better way to get in the mood for a great movie from the ’50’s, than with the cars of that period,” said Laurie Smith, Auburn’s community relations manager.

Local clubs such as the Mavericks and the Knucklebusters, as well as individuals, will provide the cars. The event will also include a raffle and contest for car owners. Prizes include a shop stool, car supplies and gift certificates donated by local businesses.

All Festival Friday concerts and Saturday Night at the Movies are free. The events are possible due to area sponsors.

For more information about the car show or how to participate, call Auburn City Hall at 786-2421.
