1907 – 2003

FARMINGTON – Marion Faye Clough, 95, a resident of Orchard Park Rehabilitation and Living Center, died Friday, July 25, at the nursing home where she had been a resident for a little over two years.

She was born Oct. 25, 1907, in Boston, Mass., a daughter of Harry A. and Ula Hapgood Parsons. She was a 1925 graduate of Gould Academy.

On March 31, 1937, she married Robert Clough in Bethel. Mr. Clough died in 1981.

She was a devoted wife and mother. She enjoyed attending agricultural fairs with her late husband, and in her free time enjoyed knitting and working on crossword and jigsaw puzzles.

She is survived by three sons, Robert Clough and his wife Joan of Chesterville, Fred Clough and his wife Roberta of Fairbanks, and Elmore Clough and his wife Joan of Waterville; one daughter, Barbara Butterfield and her husband Dennis of Chesterville; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a granddaugher, Angela Butterfield, who died in 1990; three sisters; and one brother.
