AUBURN – A section of Lake Street will be closed to traffic Thursday as road crews make repairs to a drainage system.
Crews will be installing a culvert and catch basin in the area between Colonial Way and Sherman Avenue. The work is expected to continue between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m.
Auburn Highway Department Supervisor Richard Keene said traffic will be diverted around the work site, although he doesn’t expect long delays.
“It’s a short detour,” Keene said.
The work is expected to be completed by the end of the day.
