1905 – 2003

LEWISTON – Antonio L. Tetreault, 98, of 16 Hazel St., Auburn, died Sunday, Aug. 3, at Ste. Marguerite d’Youville Pavilion, after a short illness.

Born in Webster, April 6, 1905, the son of Jules and Rosalie Lacasse Tetreault, he graduated from Sabattus High School in 1925.

He was employed as a bus driver at L & A Transit and Hudson Bus Co. for 43 years. He was married Aug. 14, 1939 to Jeannette L. Dube.

He was a member of the Auburn Catholic Community at Sacred Heart Church and a life member of the Knights of Columbus Council 106, Lewiston. He had also served as a director at Sacred Heart Credit Union, now Rainbow Federal Credit Union. He loved his family and his family loved him and will miss him.

Survivors include his wife of Auburn; two sons, Gary Tetreault and his wife, Lucille of Auburn and Jack Tetreault and his wife, Anne of Lewiston; six grandchildren, John, Marc and Charles Tetreault, Melissa Boucher, Jane Nichols and Sally Campbell; and five great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by three sisters, Rose Lachapelle, Cora Lachapelle and Orilla Tetreault; and two brothers, Henry and Oliva Tetreault.
