A 911 call came in to police at about 5:15 a.m. reporting a body in the hallway of a building on Purchase Street, police said.
Police found the teenager bleeding from the chest. He was taken to St. Luke’s Hospital, where he died a short time later.
Police withheld the victim’s name until relatives could be notified.
