1916 – 2003

LEWISTON – Blandine P. Perrier, 87, of Sun City Center, Fla., passed away after a brief illness on Tuesday, Aug. 12, at St. Mary Regional Medical Center surrounded by her family.

She was born in Lewiston on May 18, 1916, the daughter of August and Delina (Ouellette) Plourde. She was educated in Lewiston schools.

She was a weaver at the Hill Mill prior to being employed at Gould and Scammon for 15 years. For the past 23 years she has enjoyed traveling and spending their winters in Florida.

She married Armand R. Perrier in Lewiston on June 3, 1939.

She is survived by her husband of 64 years and three daughters, Germaine Dufresne and her husband Robert of Sun City Center, Fla., Anita J. Perrier of Lewiston and Jeannette Roy and her husband Raymond of Sun City Center, Fla.; four grandchildren, Donna Hilliard and her husband Stephen Sr. of South Windsor, Conn., Daniel Dufresne and his wife Nathalie of McKinney, Texas, Gary Roy and his wife Ana of Bethlehem, Pa., and Jeffrey Roy and his wife Mary of Framingham, Mass.; eight great-grandchildren Stephen, Craig and Lindsay Hilliard, Andres, Amaya, Abigail and Owen Roy and Hayley Dufresne; two sisters, Geralda Plourde of Lewiston and Georgette Gosselin and her husband Charles of Lewiston and Florida; one brother, Gaston Plourde and his wife Irene of Auburn; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a brother, August Plourde; and a sister, Marie R. Perrier.
