1907 – 2003
LEWISTON – Myrtis A. Lowell, 95, a resident of 14 Helen St., Auburn, died Thursday evening, Aug. 14, at Central Maine Medical Center, following a short illness.
Born in Auburn, Oct. 25, 1907, the daughter of Danford and Irene (Hunnewell) Allen, she attended local schools and was a homemaker all of her life.
She enjoyed spending time with her family as well as knitting and dancing.
Survivors include one son, Rudy Allen and his wife, Dorothy of Auburn; one granddaughter, Linda Allen; two great-grandsons, Carl and Maurice Hebert; one great-granddaughter, Diana Nash; two great great-grandsons, Michael Nash and Zachery Hebert; and one great great-granddaughter, Katherine Nash.
She was predeceased by her husband, Mark Lowell; and her brother, Clarence Allen.
