JAY – School Committee members are scheduled to process a teacher’s grievance hearing at the board level Wednesday during an executive session.

Superintendent Robert E. Wall has requested two executive sessions to follow nominations to fill several positions during a special meeting at 6 p.m. Wednesday at the Middle School library.

The second executive session is to discuss negotiations for teachers and educational support personnel.

Wall anticipates nominations to fill positions at the Elementary School for a computer teacher and two reading teachers for the 2003-04 school year.

Wall plans to nominate Jay High School Principal Peter Brown and Assistant Principal Kenric Charles as Student Council co-advisers at the school. Several student advisers submitted resignations last year causing vacancies because of unsettled negotiations on a new contract between teachers’ union and School Committee. Administrators decided to take on the advising.

Wall also anticipates extracurricular nominations.
