PARIS – An Oxford County grand jury has indicted a Stow man for allegedly burning down his wife’s mobile home on Aug. 7, a week after he moved out.

Paul Eugene Snow, 37, is being held at the Oxford County Jail on felony arson charges in connection with the case. He also is being held on an outstanding warrant charging him with grand larceny in South Dakota, said state Fire Marshall Timothy York.

York said Snow and his wife are still married, but that he had moved out a week before the fire broke out at their mobile home on Union Hill Road. No one was hurt in the fire. The home, which was insured, was destroyed, York said.

The fire originated in the middle bedroom. York said he has determined that it had been deliberately set. York said “through further investigation” he arrested Snow on the outstanding warrant and on arson charges a week after the fire, on Aug. 14.

A hearing in the case is expected to be held in October.
