1931 – 2003

LEWISTON – Muriel M. Nadeau, 72, of Filion Street, Lisbon passed away, Sept. 5, at the St. Mary’s Hospital.

She was born in Lewiston, March 16, 1931, a daughter of Albert R. and Leonida (Fontaine) Nadeau.

For many years she worked in the local shoe shops as a shoe cutter and later she worked at Maine Electronics as an inspector until her retirement in 1989, upon retiring she stayed home to take care of her Mom until she passed away in 2000.

She enjoyed playing cards, doing crossword puzzles and cooking. She will be sadly missed by everyone who knew and loved her.

Survivors include her lifetime companion of 40 years, Roland Sheink of Sabattus; four sisters, Lorette Goulette of Lisbon, Cecile Boisvert of Lewiston, Theresa Strout and husband Leon of Augusta, Pauline Pinard and husband Bill of Sabattus; six brothers, Roland Nadeau of Lewiston, Adrien Nadeau and wife Lorette of Sabattus, Leo Nadeau and wife Pam of Lisbon, Roger Nadeau of Lewiston, Tony Nadeau of Lisbon, Ray Nadeau and wife Edna of Turner.

She was predeceased by her parents; and one brother, Albert Nadeau.
