TOWNSHIP C – A story that appeared on page A4 of the Sun Journal on Monday, Sept. 8, contained incorrect information. Maine Land Use Regulation Commission Director Catherine M. Carroll said a public hearing on proposed development at Middle Dam by Union Water Power Co. of Augusta will not be held Wednesday, Sept. 10, in Bangor.

Instead, LURC staff at that meeting will recommend that the Commission convene a public hearing on the matter at a later date closer to Middle Dam and Lower Richardson Lake.
