PERU – Aside from being updated on the current status of a proposed merger with SAD 21, Peru School Committee members at their 6 p.m. meeting Tuesday, Sept. 16, will review several school policies.

Chairwoman Tammi Lyons will brief directors about her meeting last week with SAD 21 Superintendent Thomas Ward and SAD 21 board Chairwoman Barbara Chow.

Other agenda items include possibly hiring Dr. Dieter Kreckel of the Swift River Health Care Center as school physician for the 2003-04 school year, and Superintendent John Turner will present a list of coaches and stipend positions for the same school year, with stipends indicated.

The meeting will be held in the library.
