Dear Sun Spots: Could you please tell me the date and the contact person for the craft fair held in the fall at the Multi-Purpose Center in Lewiston. I believe it was a fund-raiser but I don’t know which organization. – No Name, Lewiston.

To answer No Name, Lewiston’s question: The Longley School will hold its craft fair there, at 145 Birch St., on Saturday, Oct. 18 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tables are still available for rent. For more information, please contact Kathleen Saucier (207) 786-2181.

Also, the Lewiston Senior Citizens Group will hold its craft fair at the Multi-Purpose Center, Lewiston, Nov. 6 and 7 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. For more information on table rentals, please contact Rina at (207) 784-2926, extension: 207. Coffee and sandwiches will also be served in Flo’s Kitchen. Donations for the white elephant table are also needed. Contact Rina for more details.

The Stone-Smart Post and Unit 82 American Legion is searching for crafters for the Legion’s fall festival craft fair. A flea market, craft fair, food sale, raffle and children’s fish pond will be featured along with face painting and a food sale. The post will serve breakfast sandwiches, coffee and doughnuts, as well as hot dogs and hamburgers. The festival will be 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 18, at the Legion Hall on Main Street, Norway. The 20th annual Christmas Craft Show will be held at the Lewiston Armory, 73 Central Ave., Lewiston, Saturday, Oct. 11, and Sunday, Oct. 12, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The 13th annual Christmas Craft Show will also be held at this location Saturday, Nov. 1, and Sunday, Nov. 2, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The 10th annual Christmas Art and Craft Show will be held at the Stevens Avenue Armory, 772 Stevens Ave., off Forest and Brighton avenues in Portland Oct. 18 and 19 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Another craft show will be held at this location Saturday Nov. 8 and Sunday Nov. 9 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The 12th annual Christmas Arts and Craft Show will also be held at this location Saturday, Dec. 13, and Sunday, Dec. 14, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The 23rd annual Christmas Craft Show will be held at the Augusta Armory, 195 Western Ave., Route 202, I-95 exit 30, Augusta, Saturday, Oct. 25, and Sunday, Oct. 26, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The 11th annual Christmas Craft Show will also be held at this location on Saturday, Nov. 15, and Sunday, Nov. 16, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The 13th annual Christmas Craft Show will be held at this location Saturday, Dec. 20, and Sunday, Dec. 21, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
