1918 – 2003

LEWISTON – Samuel Siegel, 84, a resident of Oak Park Apartments, a former longtime resident of Auburn died Tuesday evening, Sept. 23, at Central Maine Medical Center.

He was born in Auburn Oct. 12, 1918, the son of Joseph and Esther Rumianick Siegel. He was educated in Auburn schools.

He had been employed for many years as a shoeworker at Koss Shoe Co. He was a life member of Congregation Beth Abraham in Auburn.

He leaves his nieces, Esther Wiener and her husband Stephen of Carlisle, Mass., Judith Brams and her husband Robert of Quincy, Mass., Rosalyn Siegel of Portland; greatnieces, Susan and Jennifer Brams; his sisters-in-law, Bernice H. Siegel of Brookline, Mass., and Charlotte Siegel of Portland.

He was predeceased by his brothers, Charles, David, and Morris; and sisters, Rose and Leah.
