LEWISTON -The city’s Water & Sewer Division will be installing a large diameter gate valve on Sabattus Street at Franklin Street on Tuesday, Sept. 30, with a rain date of Wednesday, Oct. 1. The work is scheduled for 7 p.m. and is expected to be completed within eight hours. Residents living in higher elevations throughout the city may experience low water pressure during the valve installation.
