1967-2003

BUCKFIELD – Rose Marie Dick-Hersey, 36, of Buckfield died peacefully at her residence and went to join the Lord in heaven on Wednesday, Oct 8. She was born in Augusta on Feb. 21, 1967, the daughter of Douglas A. and Marie T. (Lavoie) Hersey and had been a resident of this community all of her life.

She was employed as a fancy stitcher in the local shoe industry until her early illness. She was a member of the First Assembly Of God Church of Lewiston. She enjoyed making puzzles, arts and crafts, listening to country music and enjoyed her three dogs and two cats.

She is survived by her parents of Litchfield; her husband, Roger G. Dutil whom she married on April 21, 1984, of Buckfield; one daughter, Tiffany M. Dick of Buckfield; one brother, Paul D. Hersey and his wife Linda of Lewiston; one sister, Lannette L. Cloutier and her husband Rene of Turner; one half-sister, Jeannette Nimms of Gardner; two nephews, Derek Hersey and Justin Cloutier; one niece, Tasha Cloutier; one step-son, Scott G. Dick of Lewiston; and one step-daughter, Elaine K. Duval of Lewiston.

Dick-Hersey- Died in Buckfield October 8, 2003. Rose M. age 36 a resident of Buckfield. Funeral services will be held Friday at 11AM at the funeral chapel. interment in St. Peter’s Cemetery. Visitation Thursday 2-4 & 7-9PM at the family owned Pinette Funeral Chapel 1065 Lisbon St., 783-2223.
