1915 – 2003

LEWISTON – Noella M. Ouellette, 88, a resident of 30 Rosedale St., Lewiston, died Wednesday afternoon, Oct. 8, 2003 at St. Marguerite d’Youville Pavilion, with her family by her side after a long illness.

Born in Lewiston, March 14, 1915, the daughter of Jean Baptiste and Marie M. (Michaud) Morin, she had been a resident of Lewiston all her life.

She had been employed in the local textile industry until her retirement. Mrs. Ouellette was a member of Holy Cross Church, Covenant 50 and Horizon 55. She enjoyed playing cards and spending quality time with her family. She will be sadly missed.

Survivors include four daughters, Jeannette Picard, Irene Ouellette, Mrs. Ronald (Joline) Guenette and Rachel Parent and her companion, Floyd Balliett, all of Lewiston; two sons, Raymond and his wife, Beatrice Ouellette, of Lewiston and Normand and his wife, Jane Ouellette, of North Windham; 14 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, Theodore Ouellette who died April 21, 1963; an infant daughter, Doris; three brothers; and one sister.
