MIDDLETOWN, Conn. – Noah Isaacs converted a pass from Peter Glidden at 58:33 to lift Wesleyan to a 3-1 men’s soccer win Saturday over Bates.
Tivon Sidorsky and Jared Ashe added a goal apiece for the Cardinals. The Bobcats (3-6-1) got a goal from Alex Wolff at 20:19 of the first half.
Amherst 3, Colby 1
WATERVILLE – Adrien deBontin scored a pair of first-half goals to lead Amherst to a 3-1 win over Colby.
Franklin Perry added an insurance goal in the third period. Trevor McWilliams responded for Colby at 88:50.
Maine 1, Stony Brook 0
ORONO – Sophomore Eric Peterson converted a relay from Gabriel Germano to give Maine a 1-0 win over Stony Brook.
The Black Bears (5-6-1) ruled the first half, taking 12 shots to one for the Seawolves (2-9-1).
Goalie Chad Mongeon had three saves for the Black Bears, while Dan Ferrin halted six shots for the Seawolves.
Women’s soccer
Bates 6, Wesleyan 0
MIDDLETOWN, Conn. – Kim Alexander converted a feed from Cecilia Clark at 46 minutes, and six different Bates College players scored a goal in the second half to propel the Bobcats (6-1-2) to a 6-0 women’s soccer win over Wesleyan.
Lynne Antinarelli and Kaitlyn Hyde combined for two saves to record the shutout.
UMF 3, Bay Path 1
LONGMEADOW, Mass. – Erin Campbell, Heidi Parker and Julia Malek each scored an unassisted goal in the second half to direct the University of Maine at Farmington to a 3-1 win over Bay Path. Bay Path’s lone goal was scored by Cheryl Kuczynski. Patty Boutin registered the win, saving 10 shots.

BRUNSWICK – Ivey Blackmore converted a feed from Kelsey Wilcox at 30:05 of the first half to steer Bowdoin to a 3-0 win over Connecticut College. Jill Falwell and Hillary Smith each chipped in an insurance goal as the Polar Bears notched their eighth win of the season.

WATERVILLE – Ashley Harmeling scored the game-winner with 25:22 remaining to lift Amherst to a 2-1 victory over Colby.Sarah Coleman scored first for the Lord Jeffs (6-3-1) on a pass by Jenny Rossman seven minutes into the contest. The White Mules (4-4-1) tied the game when Libba Cox converted a relay from Christina Andaya and Laura Williamson.
Field hockey
Maine 2, BU 1
ORONO – Jana Ouellette of Jay scored the game-winning goal at 12:44 of the first period to lift the University of Maine to a 2-1 field hockey win over Boston University.
Karly Bundy opened the attack for the Black Bears (10-3) at 7:40 of the first half.
Amherst 3, Colby 2
WATERVILLE – Tyler Kelly scored a pair of goals and Christine Ryan added one to lift Amherst to a 3-2 win over Colby.
Wendy Bonner scored a pair of goals for Colby.
Bowdoin 5, Conn. Coll. 0
BRUNSWICK – Marissa O’Neil scored a hat trick to boost Bowdoin College to a 5-0 win over Connecticut College.
Christi Gannon and Sarah Horn each scored a goal.
Keene State 3, USM 0
KEENE, N.H. – Tanya Strong scored the game-winning goal and added an assist as Keene State downed the University of Southern Maine 3-0.
Wesleyan 3, Bates 0
MIDDLETON, CT – Jenn Wasserman scored an unassisted goal at 32:25 of the first half to spark Wesleyan past Bates, 3-0.
Husson 10, Wheelock 0
BANGOR – Karole Anne-Emery, Sara McIntire, Crystal Strout, and Nicole Palmer each blasted a pair of goals as Husson routed Wheelock, 10-0.
