1916 – 2003
LITCHFIELD – Irma B. Dion, 87, of 3 Keri Lane, Litchfield and formerly of Poland Road, Auburn, died Wednesday, Oct. 15, at her residence.
Born in Lisbon July 7, 1916, a daughter of Eugene and Anna Yargeau Bernier. She graduated as Valedictorian of her Class in 1933 from Lisbon High School.
She was married to Fernand Dion who died 50 years ago and worked at Cowan Woolen Mill during the 40’s, 50’s and 60’s.
Mrs. Dion was a member of the Auburn Catholic Community at Sacred Heart Parish and enjoyed quilting and sewing.
She is survived by two daughters, Elaine Grover of McComb, Ohio, Marie-Paule Ouellette of Litchfield; two sons, Joseph Rock Dion of Boston, Mass., James Peter Dion of Minot; six grandchildren, Michael, Jeffrey, Steve, Regan, Loni and Kimberly; seven great-grandchildren, Samantha, Derek, Kristin, Crystal, Keri, Kasey and Zachary.
