AUBURN – Police are searching for a man who robbed a local motel at gun point early Sunday morning.
A man wearing a mask, a dark jacket, camouflage pants and a backpack entered the Executive Inn at about 3:30 a.m., police said.
He pointed a gun at the manager on duty and demanded money. Then he took off.
Police said the man got away with money, but they would not say how much.
By the time officers arrived at the scene, he was gone. The Auburn Police Department was still searching for him Sunday night.
The suspect is described as white and about 6 feet tall with a medium build.
Formerly the Coastline Inn, the motel is located near the Ground Round on Center Street.
