STRONG The Strong Nursing Home held graduation for their second certified nursing assistant graduation class recently. The festivities were held on the lawn of the facility with the residents, families and friends in attendance.

Eighth students have successfully completed the CNA training course with registered nurse Brenda Hill as the instructor. Each student was presented with a certificate, a CNA pin and a rose.

Carol Timberlake, vice president of marketing and communication at North Country Associates, said a few words of recognition. Paula Varney, administrator of the nursing home, and Brenda Hill also addressed students completing the course.

Two students received special recognition. Zelma Gould was honored for having the highest achievement and Chiquita Swiney received the Outstanding Student Award.
