FARMINGTON – Joe Conway, Jeff Beck and Jeff Tatarczuk tallied one goal apiece to give the University of Maine at Farmington a 3-0 men’s soccer win over Maine Maritime Academy.
The Beavers (12-4-1) dropped two into the net in the first half, then added an insurance goal by Tatarczuk in the second. Seabren Reeves and Eric Stailing split time in net, yet were not tested throughout the game.
Husson 3, Thomas 0
WATERVILLE – Dave Richards, Kyle James and Shane Coffin tallied single goals Thursday to send Husson to a 3-0 shutout over Thomas in mens’ soccer action.
Richards also added an assist for the Braves (9-7), while keeper Matt Goodman made six saves to record the victory.
Ryan Conrad deflected 12 shots in net for the Terriers (4-12-1) in the loss.
USM 2, Salem State 0
SALEM, Mass. – Senior goalkeeper Dan Hills turned aside seven shots and the University of Southern Maine scored once in each half en route to a 2-0 victory over Salem State College in a mens’ soccer matchup Thursday.
Zach Ansley gave the Huskies (8-8-2) an early cushion when he stole an errant clearing pass and blasted a shot from outside the penalty box into the right corner. Craig Vickers converted a pass from Steve Read for his second goal of the season.

Colby 6, USM 1
WATERVILLE – Laura Williamson and Libba Cox netted two goals each to lead Colby to a 6-1 win over the University of Southern Maine in women’s soccer action Thursday.
Meg Cordner and Christina Andaya tallied single goals for the Mules (7-5-1) to complete the scoring.
Eva Hanson scored the lone goal for the Huskies (6-8-2) with 14 minutes left in regulation. Marcy Ansley and Rachel Kwantz split netkeeping duties, with Ansley recording seven saves in the loss.

Ycaza scored a hat trick Thursday to propel Husson to a 3-0 victory over Thomas.
in a late-season collegiate soccer matchup. Kaylin Caron tallied two assists for the Braves (11-4-2), while Janie Michaud added one. Leah Drew and Ashley Robar combined for six saves to notch the shutout.
Jessica Craft turned away 13 shots in net for the Terriers (3-9) in the loss.
