1906 – 2003
LEWISTON – Anne Elizabeth Daunis, 97, of 15 Marshall Ave., Auburn, died on Nov. 9, at Marshwood Nursing Home.
She was born Aug. 24, 1906, the daughter of Anthony and Mary Daunis.
She graduated from Edward Little High School in 1924. For many years she worked as a bookkeeper for the Lewiston Buick Co. and the Pontiac Center in Auburn.
She was a member of the Auburn Senior Citizens and Robin Dow Clubs. She loved to cheer on her grandnephew, Sam in soccer games and keep up with her Lithuanian heritage.
She is survived by her niece, Patricia Daunis-Dunning and husband William Dunning, grandnephew, Samuel Dunning, all of Brunswick; and sister-in-law, Jacqueline Daunis.
She was predeceased by her brother, Frank Daunis.
