1919 – 2003
FARMINGTON – Florena H. Badger, 84, of Phillips, died Nov. 11, at Franklin Memorial Hospital.
She was born July 14, 1919, in Dallas Plantation, the daughter of Clinton and Hattie (Nile) Heath.
She attended Phillips High School. She then went on to graduate nursing school in Middletown, Conn. She spent most of her life taking care of others as a nurse.
She enjoyed reading, traveling, and was an avid bingo player. She loved her family dearly and will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her three daughters, Betty Atkinson and husband Dennis of Phillips, Barbara Norton and companion Arthur Storer of Avon, and Harriet Wilcox of Auburn; two sons, Jack Badger Jr. and wife Diane of Inverness, Fla., and W. Scott Badger of St. Petersburg, Fla.; two brothers, Kendall Heath and wife Donna of Phillips and Edward Heath and wife Sylvia of Mechanic Falls; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Jack Badger in 1976.
