LEWISTON – Kenneth F. Brusoe Jr. died Thursday, Dec. 11, at Central Maine Medical Center.
He was born in St. Albans, Vt. on April 20, 1944, a son of Kenneth F. Brusoe Sr. and Rita Brusoe.
He served his country in the United States Army.
He was a member of the Masons, American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars, and the Lions Club.
He loved the outdoors and was an avid fisherman and hunter. He loved gardening and using his new riding lawn mower.
He owned and operated the Poland Corner Store for 13 years.
He is survived by wife and companion Gail Brusoe of South Paris; his parents, Kenneth F. Brusoe Sr. and Rita Brusoe of Haines City, Fla.; a brother, Tom Brusoe and his wife Margee of California; three sons, Lt. Col. Eric Brusoe and his wife Susan of Maryland, Master Sgt. Mark Brusoe and his wife Barbara of England, and Stacey Brusoe and his wife Tonya of Oxford; two daughters, Rita Carter and Tammy Brusoe of Rhode Island; 11 grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
