Military note
Spc. Norman E. Voter, a member of the 133rd Combat Engineer Battalion Co. C Detachment of the Army National Guard, has been called to active duty.
Voter did his training for carpentry-mason at St. Louis, Mo.
He is a graduate of Mountain Valley High School in 2002 and is the son of Maurice and Alba Voter of Rumford. He has two brothers, Colin of Bangor, and Sgt. Salvatore Voter, US Marine Corps, stationed in Jacksonvile, N.C.
