PARIS – Healthy Oxford Hills, a Healthy Maine Partnership and a program of Western Maine Health, has received the National Park Service Rivers, Trails and Conservation Assistance grant. They were one of only two projects that the park service took on in Maine.
Healthy Oxford Hills will receive staff time from the park service’s Brunswick office.
The park service staff will help the trails committee of Healthy Oxford Hills and the Recreation Department of Norway develop a work plan, locate a project, get approval and find funding for any potential trail.
For more information about the Oxford Hills Trails Committee, contact Joe Wyman at 743-5933 extension 776 or wymanj@wmhcc.org.
