1928 – 2003
DIXFIELD – Charles R. Rumley, 75, of Canton Point Road, Dixfield, died Tuesday morning, Dec. 30, at his residence.
Born in Mexico Jan. 3, 1928, the son of Cecil and Jeanette Mowatt Rumley. He was educated in Mexico schools graduating from Mexico High School. He Married Alice Donahue on Dec. 8, 1951. He worked as a finisher at Boise Cascade prior to his retirement in 1986. He belonged to Mexico Congregational Church, and enjoyed hunting, fishing and car racing at Oxford and NASCAR on TV.
Survivors include his wife of Dixfield; daughters, Jo Rumley of Industry, Diane Smith and her husband Terry of Wilton, Carlene Wilbur also of Industry; granddaughter, Shiloh Felt of Dixfield; sisters, Joyce Peters of Benton, and Ruth Theriault of Mexico.
He was predeceased by sister, Jeanette Gaudin; and infant sister; and brother, Cecil Rumley.
