Dear Sun Spots: We were hoping maybe someone could help us out. We are looking for some working fitness equipment for a group facility, especially a working treadmill. Donations would be very helpful, due to lack of budget. Please leave a message for Ashley at (207) 743-5252 if you can help. Thank you. – No Name, No Town.

Dear Sun Spots: Is there anywhere I could find regular fitted sheets and mattress covers? Not the deep pockets that leave the bed loose and messy but the regular full-size.

Also, I’m wondering if the two actors on “Room by Room” on HGTV are married to each other? My friends have a debate going. Thanks. – P.D., Lewiston.

Answer:
In addition to responses from readers, it does not appear these two are married to each other.

According to www.mattandshari.com, Shari Hiller was working at Dutch Boy Paints developing color systems. She loved her job but was tired of the travel that kept her away from her husband and 5-year-old daughter in Cleveland. One day she was brainstorming videotaping her seminars and sending them out to meetings or selling them as instruction videos. She envisioned a program that would take viewers through the entire redecorating process of a single room. Soon after, at a Dutch Boy annual meeting she met Matt Fox, a paint salesman. When she shared her idea with him, he loved it. Together, they refined the idea and came up with their mantra: real people, real rooms, real decorating.

The rest as they say is history. “Room by Room” was first broadcast on HGTV Dec. 30, 1994, and was an immediate success. Hiller was born April 4, 1958, and Fox April 24, 1956. The couple has produced three home videos for HGTV: “Great Ideas from Room by Room,” “Room by Room for the Holidays” and “Room by Room Kitchen Ideas.”

Dear Sun Spots: I was wondering if anyone can tell me where I can purchase antibacterial laundry detergent? Also, I have not been able to find the low-fat Hostess Twinkies and low-fat Hostess cupcakes anywhere for months. Are they still available? Thanks for any help you can provide. – No Name, Lisbon.

In addition to responses from readers, try your local health food store for the detergent.
