1914 – 2004
AUBURN – Lillian (Hobbs) McKenney, 89, a resident of Tenth Street, Auburn died Jan. 1, at Odd Fellows Home.
She was born in Greene, July 3, 1914, the daughter of Arthur and Mabel (Alden) Hobbs.
She graduated from Edward Little High School in 1933. On Sept. 9, 1938, she married Howard McKenney, he passed in away 1957. She worked as a bookkeeper for many years at Ward Brothers. She was a life long member of the Androscoggin County Extention Service and she was a 60-year member of the Danville and Stevens Mills Grange.
She is survived by her daughter, Cynthia Maxwell of Auburn; a son, Dale.
She was predeceased by a sister, Doris Card.
