1930 – 2004

FARMINGTON – Dorothy B. “Dot” Hunt, 73, of Livermore Falls, died Tuesday, Jan. 6, at FMH, following a short illness.

She was born Feb. 14, 1930, in Livermore Falls, the daughter of Archie and Dorothy (Davis) King Jr. She was married Aug. 29, 1947, to Everett L. Hunt. He died May 11, 1995.

She was widely known for her catering business, Dot’s Catering. She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church, Turner and enjoyed the comraderie of riding the Calvary bus to church.

She is survived by two daughters, Mildred “Millie” Brown and her husband, Larry of East Livermore and Deborah “Debbie” Merrill and her husband, Ricky of Jay; four sisters, Mary Wilson of West Peru, Maddie Goding and her husband, Carl of Livermore Falls, Etta “Diddy” Cox and her husband, Jim of Livermore Falls and Annie Belanger and her husband, Gene of East Jay; two brothers, Ernest “Nookie” King of Livermore Falls and Archie King III of Livermore Falls; five grandchildren, Amy (Brown) Byrne and her husband, Harry, Scott Brown, Laurie Brown, Lisa (Hunt) Glidden and her husband, Mike, Stephen Hunt and his wife, Darcie; five great-grandchildren, Micheal, Christina and Korin Brown, Brett Hunt and Brian Dubord; many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband; son, Robert Hunt; one brother; and two sisters.
