1908 – 2004

TEMPLE, Texas – Robert S. Towle, 95, of Temple, Texas, formerly of Killeen, Texas, died Sunday, Jan. 4, at a Temple nursing home.

Born in Topsham, Nov. 28, 1908, to Sidney and Annie Hutchins Towle, he worked in farming and he was a mail carrier prior to his retirement. He was a member of Faith Temple Church in Killeen.

Survivors are two sons, Bob Towle of Rockdale, Texas, and John Towle of Turner; one daughter, Daphne Burns of Oxford; two sisters, Viola Bibber of Bath and Vesta Lord of Auburn; one brother, Clive Towle of Auburn; and 19 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
