LEWISTON – Anne Theriault will be the guest speaker for the Saints Peter and Paul Society on Sunday, Jan. 11, following the 8 a.m. breakfast meeting in the Dominican Conference Room.

She will speak about her experiences in Nepal in a talk titled “Encountering God in Katmandu: A Day in the Life of a Jesuit Volunteer.”

Theriault is a native of Lewiston and a graduate of St. Dominic Regional High School. She also graduated magna cum laude from the College of Holy Cross in 2000.

Theriault spent two years as a Jesuit volunteer in Katmandu, Nepal, teaching English, tutoring former child workers and orphans, trekking and making many Nepali friends. She is presently a first-year divinity student at Weston Jesuit School of Theology in Cambridge, Mass.
