1913 – 2004
AUBURN – M. Germaine Hyer, 90, formerly of 10 Pearl St., Auburn, died Thursday evening, Jan. 8, at Clover Manor Nursing Home where she had resided for the last seven years.
She was born in New Auburn on April 10, 1913, the daughter of Ernest and Amanda (Demers) Juneau and was educated in Auburn schools.
She worked at Montgomery Ward, Ward Bros., and in various local shoe shops.
She was the widow of Harold L. Hyer Sr. whom she married in 1956, and who died in 1976.
She is survived by a niece, Jackie Dwinal of Bath; two great-nephews, Daniel and Christopher Dwinal; and a sister-in-law, Eudora Juneau of Auburn.
She was predeceased by her two brothers, Roland and Robert Juneau; and by her sister, Florence Dion.
