1940 – 2004

LEWISTON – Roland M. Gosselin, 63, of 1 Harvest Lane, Lewiston died unexpectedly Thursday evening, Jan. 8, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center.

He was born in Lewiston on Aug. 30, 1940, the son of Elmo and Gisele (Cote) Gosselin. He served as a Sergeant in the U.S. Army from 1962 to 1964.

He worked for 26 years at Pioneer Plastics as a foreman and most recently as a security guard for Ace Security. He was a member of Holy Family Church.

He was an avid golfer, enjoyed playing baseball, and loved to bowl.

He is survived by his wife of over 36 years, Jacqueline L, (Bougie) Gosselin of Lewiston whom he married on July 1, 1967; two sons, Kevin Gosselin of Lewiston and Keith Gosselin of Auburn; one daughter, Karen Gosselin and her husband Norm Berube of Auburn; eight grandchildren, Kevin, Kristopher, Dylan, Brady, Katrina, Kacey, Keiley, and Kodi; and by many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by one sister, Connie Roy; and by one brother, Robert Gosselin.
