1906 – 2004
WEST PARIS – Vera May Buck, 97, of Bryant Pond, died at the Ledgeview Living Center on Sunday, Jan. 11.
She was born Sept. 7, 1906, at Milton Plantation, the daughter of Earl and Eva (Lamb) Farnum. She married Winfield Buck on Nov. 22, 1922, he died in 1980.
She had been employed at Burnham and Morrill, Wilner Wood Products of South Paris and at Market Square Health Care as a nurses aid. She had lived most of her life in Bryant Pond.
She is survived by two daughters, Eva Poland of Bethel and Erma Lowe of Oxford; 15 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by one daughter, Cristina Tuttle; one son, Hollis Buck; one brother, Charles Farnum; and two great-grandsons, Adam Richard and Brian Buck.
