AUGUSTA – Applications are being accepted for the Little Miss Maine International and Miss Pre-Teen Maine International Pageant to be held on March 28 at the Holiday Inn.

It is a “little sister” program to the Mrs., Miss and Miss Teen Maine International programs.

Little Miss ages 5 to 8 and Miss Pre-Teen ages 9 to 12 will be judged in three areas of competition: interview, fashion fun wear and party dress. All contestants receive gifts for entering.

Applications are also being accepted for the Mrs. and Miss Teen Maine International Pageants, official preliminaries to the Mrs. Maine International and the Miss Teen Maine International Competitions, scheduled for April 25.

The new Mrs. Maine International 2004 and Miss Teen Maine International 2004 will receive prize packages valued at more than $10,000 and will represent Maine at the Mrs. International Pageant and the Miss Teen International Pageant in Chicago, Ill.

Areas of competition for the Mrs. division include interview, aerobic wear and evening gown. The teens will compete in personal interview, evening gown, fashion fun wear and aerobic wear. There is no swimsuit competition for either division.
