AUBURN – Jennifer Ryan, education director for L-A Arts, will discuss art in the Twin-City schools when the Auburn Art Club meets at 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 26, at the High Street Congregational Church.

Ryan is a 1991 graduate of Edward Little High School and was an art history major at Mount Holyoke College. Before returning to Lewiston-Auburn she was an art educator at the Brooklyn Museum of Art.

Hostess Margaret Savignano will be assisted by Verona Crafts, Melanie Ness and Jean Ness.

Daffodil Days

LEWISTON – The American Cancer Society’s Daffodil Days will be during the week of March 22 and volunteers are needed to sell, pack, sort or deliver flowers. Funds will be used for research, education, advocacy, patient services and programs.

Fresh daffodils will be available for $7 a bouquet at the Hannaford stores. Orders may be made in advance by calling the American Cancer Society at 1-800-464-3102, press 3, or 373-3701 by March 5.
